Achamundu Achamundu, India’s first RED one feature is nearing completion and the final leg of the DI process is being carried out in Hollywood – Plaster City, LA. Achamundu is directed by the NRI director Arun Vaidyanathan and is mostly shot in the USA. Recently, in the special effect studios, noted Hollywood producers Michael Peyser and Jon Labrie called on the crew.
Earlier, the producers expressed interest to director Arun who in turn invited them over to witness the process and have a look at the movie. It is learnt that Peyser and Labrie, after watching the movie, were impressed with the outcome and congratulated Arun on the good work. Peyser was the producer of hugely successful films like Speed 2 and Labrie was associated with the Academy award winning ‘Lord of the Rings’ series.
The feedback seems to have lifted the spirits of Arun who is gearing up his efforts for the release of the movie in late 2008
