Villu on internet

Internet seems to play spoilsport as far as unreleased films are concerned. The latest film that is hit by the mischief makers on the internet is Villu. Many big budget films have fallen prey to the mischief mongers who distribute the songs of the unreleased film on the internet free of cost. The three songs that have been doing the rounds recently

are: Uyirai Thozhitthen, Nee Parthidel and Kanavellam Neethane. These three songs are said to be from Villu.

However, in most of the cases the songs distributed on the internet do not feature in the film. So it needs to be seen if the songs doing rounds on the internet will be a part of Villu. Villu, which is directed by Prabhu Deva, stars Ilayathalapathy Vijay.

This actress may miss the awards!

Parvathy’s astounding performance in the film Poo has been receiving rave reviews from the fans as well as the critics. In fact most of the audiences who watched the film vouch that Parvathy deserves an award for her performance. But what they fail to understand is that she had not lent her voice for the film. According to Poo’s director Sasi, he wanted
Parvathy
Parvathy to dub for the film but her strong Malayalam accent forbade him to use her voice.

It is a well known rule that all the actors considered for the National award must have dubbed for the film. Since Parvathy’s voice was not used for Poo she may miss the coveted award.

Soundarya Rajini's association with Nakul

Soundarya Rajinikanth is making waves in the film industry with diverse projects in film making. Her animation film ‘Sultan the warrior’ on her dad will soon be ready. Currently she is producing Venkat Prabhu’s Goa. Now, the latest update from her Ochre studios reveals that she will be making a film with Kaadhalil Vizhunden Nakul in the lead role

directed by Hosimin, an assistant director who had worked with Shankar in Sivaji. It has been said that she and Nakul had studied together at Ashram school and are good buddies. This association seems to have helped her rope in the young hero in her project. When Hosimin recently narrated a story it has impressed the younger daughter of the Boss. She had immediately called Nakul and after narrating the story to him has obtained his consent to feature in Hosimin’s film as hero. School connections do help in some cases after all!

Bala seals Naan Kadavul

Naan Kadavul, the film that was in the making for a very long time, will finally be released for Pongal 2009. The film’s audio release is scheduled for this month end. Yesterday the crew shot a last bit of the film at the AVM Studios in Chennai which had Bharathi, Ranjani and Azhagan Thamizh Mani.

Bharathi (not to be confused with Ammuvaghiya Naan star) plays the role of Arya's mother while Azhagan Thamizh Mani is Arya's dad and Ranjani happens to be his sister. The scene was that of a small function for Ranjani on her attaining puberty. Bharathi happens to be in a melancholic mood because there are no kith and kin attending the function. When Ranjani questions her parents about the absence of her brother Arya, both the parents appear to be in a very pensive mood. This was the scene that was filmed and with this, the shooting of Naan Kadavul comes to an end. Bala's fans would be extremely delighted and would wait for this Pongal bonanza from the talented director.

Rajini considers his film to be the last

Director Lingusamy during the audio launch of his production venture Pattalam, disclosed that Rajini had mentioned once to him that ever since 1992 he has considered each of the film that he has been acting to be his final film. The director-producer said this was Rajinikanth's answer when he questioned about being in the film industry for over 25 years.

Rajini till date maintains his stylish and youngish persona in all his films, which is an attraction to the young and the old alike.

Lingusamy is producing the film Pattalam under his banner Thirupati Brothers. The film stars veteran actress Nadiya along with eight debutantes.
